Privacy Policy — Dan Callahan · The Insurance AI Guy
Dan Callahan · The Insurance AI Guy Field Guide No. 1

Who We Are

This website is operated by the publisher of The Agent's Unfair Advantage, trading as Dan Callahan · The Insurance AI Guy at insuranceguydan.com. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to that business, which is the data controller for the information described below. "Dan Callahan" is the pen name under which the guide is published.

Every privacy question, data request, and refund goes to one address, and a real person reads it: dancallahan.insurance@gmail.com.

What Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to process your order and deliver your product:

There is no account to create and no password to remember. We do not ask for, want, or store any information about your clients — and the guide itself instructs you never to put client details into an AI tool.

How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used for:

We do not currently run a mailing list. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and you will be asked to opt in — you will never be added to a marketing list simply because you bought something.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate this business:

Beyond these, your information is shared only where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies, Tracking and Advertising

This site uses essential functional cookies needed for it to operate, and one advertising tool: the Meta Pixel, a piece of tracking code from Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). We want to be specific about it rather than bury it.

What it collects: that a browser visited a page on this site, which page, what was clicked, and whether a purchase was completed. It reads and writes Meta's cookies (including _fbp) and records your IP address and browser details. Meta may be able to match that activity to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one.

What we use it for: measuring whether our ads work, and showing ads for this guide to people who visited the site but didn't buy.

What we do not use it for: we do not upload customer lists to Meta, and we do not use it to build profiles of individuals.

How to switch it off: adjust your Meta ad settings at accounts.meta.com, use your browser's tracking-protection or cookie settings, or use a content blocker. Blocking it will not affect your ability to buy, download, or use the guide in any way.

The Web Library

Buyers get access to a private web page containing the same 50 prompts. It stores one thing, and it stores it in your browser only: which prompts you have starred, kept in your browser's local storage. That never leaves your device and we cannot see it. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

Data Retention

Purchase records are retained for as long as tax and accounting rules require; Stripe holds those records under its own obligations. Emails you send us are kept while they are useful for supporting you, and deleted on request. Server logs and advertising data follow the retention schedules of Hostinger and Meta respectively. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing dancallahan.insurance@gmail.com.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

If you are in the EEA or UK these are your GDPR rights; if you are in California they are your CCPA/CPRA rights, and exercising them will never mean worse service or a different price. To exercise any of them, contact us at dancallahan.insurance@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of this site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
